Father Pedro was born in Jalisco, México. He has two brothers and one sister. They live in San Rafael and
Santa Rosa, California.
He entered to the Seminary when he was 18 years old. He studied at the Diocesan Seminary in
Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. He was ordained as a priest on May 5, 1984. He served in the Diocese of
San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco, in the Archdiocese of Oaxaca, and in the Diocese of Tenancingo in
México. He came to United States in 2018. His first assignment in United States was our St. Maria
Goretti Parish where he served for two years. Then he was assigned to Sacred Heart Parish for two years.
Now he is coming back to our church as Parochial Vicar.

“The Christian vocation has born from the Spirit that animates the whole Body of Christ. There are a
diversity of gifts and a variety of charisms, but only One Body and One Spirit (l Cor 12,4-13). I want to
be a promoter of unity and collaboration, since they give a sense of cohesion, identity, unity and
belonging. “God who created you without you, will not save you without you” (Saint Augustine). The
body is built on the sum of its members, so stewardship is essential to strengthen our mission.

God has called me; God will accompany me in the tasks that he has entrusted to me.”
